Easy AI ("we", "us", "our") operates easyaiforanyone.com and related industry-specific domains. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

We keep this in plain English on purpose. If something is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

What We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture) from Google. We never receive or store your Google password.

Business profile

You create a business profile that includes your business name, owner name, industry, location, services you offer, preferred tone, and target customer description. You provide all of this voluntarily, and it is used to personalize your AI-generated content.

Generated content

When you use our AI tools, we store the prompts you submit and the outputs generated. This includes the text inputs you provide (like a review to respond to) and the generated text you receive.

Payment information

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number. Stripe shares with us your subscription status, plan type, and billing email so we can manage your account.

Usage data

We collect basic usage data like which tools you use, how often you generate content, and when you log in. We use this to improve the product and understand which tools are most useful.

How We Use Your Data

• Personalize your AI outputs. Your business profile is included in prompts sent to our AI provider so the generated content matches your business.
• Process payments. We use Stripe to handle subscriptions, trials, and billing.
• Send transactional emails. We send account-related emails like signup confirmations, password resets, and billing receipts. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
• Improve the product. We analyze usage patterns in aggregate to understand which tools are popular and where to build next.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to run Easy AI. Each has access only to the data it needs.

• Anthropic (Claude API). When you generate content, your prompt (including your business profile details) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes the prompt and returns the generated text. Anthropic's data usage policy governs how they handle that data. We do not send your email, password, or payment information to Anthropic.
• Stripe. Handles all payment processing. Stripe receives your payment method details directly. We never see your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend. Sends transactional emails on our behalf. Resend receives your email address and the content of the email being sent (like a password reset link). Resend does not receive your business profile or generated content.
• Google OAuth. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your email and basic profile with us. We do not share your Easy AI data back with Google.

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential cookies required for the application to function. They expire when you log out or after your session ends.

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use third-party analytics cookies.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. This includes your account information, business profile, and generated content history.

If you delete your account, we delete your personal data, business profile, and generated content within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before those backups are rotated out.

We may retain anonymized, aggregated usage data (like "Tool X was used 500 times this month") indefinitely, as this cannot be tied back to any individual.

Your Rights

• Delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This removes your personal data, business profile, and content history.
• Export your data. You can request a copy of your data by emailing us. We will provide it in a standard format within 30 days.
• Update your information. You can update your business profile, email, and password at any time from your dashboard.
• Ask questions. If you have questions about your data, email us and we will answer them.

Security

Passwords are hashed before storage. We never store plaintext passwords. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

No system is 100% secure. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Easy AI is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on the site. Minor clarifications or formatting changes may be made without notice.
